Tuna Poke Bowl
One of the most popular dishes from Hawaii has hit all of Canada And you can find a shop on almost every city corner. It’s easy to make at home too. First thing is sourcing a Ocean wise certified piece 6 oz of Tuna which has been ethically sourced. Cut your tuna into cube size pieces. Place the cubes in a bowl and start to put in the ingredients.
Japanese soy sauce or tamari 2 teaspoons
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon sake
mix those up and let sit in fridge
Cook some plain white rice and when ready add tuna mixture to top of bowl
Now sprinkle the following as you like.
1-2 scallions cut thin
1 teaspoon dried fried onions
1- seaweed snack packet
1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
1 teaspoon Korean chili flakes or siracha
you now have a healthy nice lunch or dinner!
